Kamal Kumar (FedEx)

Kamal Kumar is the Clearance Manager of FedEx Express based in Auckland. He is Responsible for NZ Clearance operation, which also includes Customer Services and Operations for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
 
Kamal has been with FedEx Express for 12.5 years now and progressed from a Customs Broker into management. He has worked on special assignments when FedEx had introduced their in-house Clearance software ACCS in 2008 and later same year worked together with MPI to rollout EBACCA clearances. He has been working with CAPEC since 2011.
 
Prior moving to New Zealand in January 2002, Kamal has worked for Fiji Revenue & Customs Authority for 10.5 years. He worked 1 year in a Freight Forwarding firm before joining FedEx Express in 2003.
 
With about 24 years of experience in Clearance operations, Kamal has a sound knowledge of the Express and Freight Industry. He is married with a daughter and son.
