Dee Ngakuru (FedEx)

Dianella (Dee) Ngakuru is the Country Manager for FedEx New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Dee joined FedEx in 2000 as a Courier in the Perth operation before moving into areas in Station Operations, Imports, Exports, Clearance, and Service Assurance / Quality Process improvement.

From 2007 until 2014 Dee was responsible for managing Operations Excellence for FedEx Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Philippines and the Pacific Islands before being appointed into her current role in August 2014.

Before joining FedEx Dee held multiple supervisory roles in retail and administration and was also a Business and Computing lecturer at Polytechnic West (previously TAFE WA).

Dee holds an Australian customs broker license, and also has the following tertiary qualifications:

• Certificate IV of International Trade and Facilitation, TAFE WA.
• MBA (Logistics and Supply Chain Management), Australian Institute of Business.

​She is located in Auckland and is married with three children.
